How do you know you're not motivated to be mindful? Is there dislike that arises when you think about practicing? Are you worried that you're not practicing?

If you can see these things you're already being mindful. Just add the noting. Now you're practicing. After some time of observing these experiences you'll be able add a timer for how long you're formally noting. Then add the walking and increase the time slowly over the next few days or weeks.

You can only ever start from where you currently are. So note right now and take it from there.

Earlier when I noticed I was unmindful I was able to note 'thinking', 'wandering', or the other moment but now when I know I'm unmindful, I'm not able to push myself to note.

Yep. It will take time. Don't worry. It also helps to think why you are practicing: to end suffering. And to think that you are lucky to have come across the Buddha's teaching in this life and that you are physically and mentally capable of practicing. Who knows how many lives will pass before you have this chance again.

You could try Marananussati meditation. It's one of the four protective meditations. It's purpose is to guard the mind against heedlessness and infatuation.
