Motive of Buddhism is not to do good and become good or reach heaven, its for the end of suffering.

Pursuit of survival traps you suffering, why to even survive ? Just purify your mind and pass away, exit Samsara.

I wouldn't look at things in terms of good or bad. That is pretty judgemental.

Wholesome things will lead in a certain direction, so will unwholesome things. What leads to what is the only interesting thing to know. As soon as the mind has determined, figured out for itself what is suffering and then has let go of the causes, the need for survival will no longer arise.
