I heard this story years ago and am trying to find the original text.
A wife of a man in one of the higher realms (demi-god realm?) dies and is reborn in the human realm, but for some reason remembers her past life. She goes on to pray everyday and lived a good life generating good karma, and was reborn in the demi god realm where she was reunited with her husband, who asked where she had been for the past day.
