During sitting meditation, even while my eyes are closed I find them wandering towards the meditation object. This causes me to lose focus and become drowsy. Should I focus my eyes forward while closed and note the wandering?

Don't try to reposition the eyeballs when the eyelids are closed. If you feel the movement of the eyeballs, note that too. Note whatever sensation, thought etc. that is the most prominent including drowsiness.
