The Beginning & Dependent Origination

Question

If everything comes from something & action A results in event B, then where did everything come from according to dependent origination? Has it always been here? Where do our "minds" or citta come from? In other words how did it all start?

There is no beginning, neither is there any end, both beginning and end are mental concepts, mental formations and are in turn subject to impermanence.
