Is it possible to attain enlightenment without the knowledge of buddhism/dhamma? As in, if one practices correctly without knowledge of the buddha or his teachings, is it still possible?

Yes, because that is how all the Buddhas and Pacceka Buddhas become enlightened without the help of another when there is no teaching of the Dhamma in the world.

No, because If you practice correctly, that means you already know the Dhamma. If you see impermanence, suffering and non-self, you already know the Dhamma.

From Theravada perspective that is not possible because Sotapatti (first stage is enlightenment) means you know dhamma, you are non-self, you have no doubt regarding budda’s teaching, you know purification does not come through performing rituals.
