If a thought arises you should note thinking until it disappears. You should then return to the rising and falling. We don't suppress anything. We note whatever is clearest and return to the rising and falling once it disappears.

I herd yuthaddamo Bikku today. There was a similar question. His answer was that noticing is another though. So there is no repression. Since noticing is a though that comes up as naturally as a normal though and let you know that you were thinking so from there I go to the object of concentration the rising and falling of the stomach. Thanks for your answer it also helps understanding.
