Whenever I lie down to sleep, there is a sense of discomfort in my chest and my heart is pounding. I am not able to breathe fully. How to practice Mindfulness in this situation or is there any other way in can reduce this feeling?

You may need to seek medical help. It could be related to Covid.

The whole practice is about noting whatever appears without trying to make anything go away. The fact that we dislike these experiences and want them to go away is the problem. We should train ourselves to note whatever comes up until it goes away on its own. The goal should not be for it to disappear. The goal should be to see it clearly. If the experience doesn't go away after some time return to the rising and falling of the stomach.

Also, note the dislike as well.
