It's said in the first link here and I heard it too and second one which people say like practitioners will meet the future buddha both concepts don't go well together like contradict each other and even if the first one is true i don't have good feeling about it like there's a limited time after reaching first stage to reach arahant where one may not do nehakkama do like I think lay life is good foundation and after reaching first stage one can do nekkhamma because we like to meditate to go deep but when we are mindful in daily life and then meditation works good so one must devlop panna with living lay life with following precipts and meditation and after first stage they should do nehakkama and teach people with their panna and experience they gained.

Little long sorry

What is the question? Please add some punctuation so it's easier for readers to understand.

In the both of the links which one is true because both contradict each other

I'm not seeing the contradiction. If one becomes a sotapanna they will become an Arahant in, at most, 7 lifetimes.

Contradiction is that if one becomes non returner how will they meet the wheel turning monarch or the people who try and not reach the goal meet the next buddha that's what I'm trying to understand.

Where does it say that? I read through both texts and can't see where it says a once returner will meet the future Buddha.

That's what I don't understand i meant the non returner can't meet rite? So who's going to meet then that's what I can't understand from the sutta

I'm not seeing where it says that. Either ways, this is a forum for meditation practice questions. If you have questions about your meditation practice please ask.

I didn't say it says that I asked how should one understand the both suttas with different theories so should one understand that after following 8 fold path after becoming non returner they won't return and who have not achieved sotappana will meet the future buddha that's what I meant if u have right understanding you can help me or else it's okay.

I understand your question now. I think Sankha has given the correct answer.

Whether you become Sotappanna or not, if you are born in a heaven with a long life span, you might be able to meet the future Buddha.

Ok thanks i am interested to know more about it is there a sutta

More about the future Buddha?
by (470 points)
About meeting future buddha or that even a non returner can come back

Meeting future Buddha has nothing to do with non returner. Non returners don't come back like the name suggests.
