Dear Dhamma Students,

Practicing mental noting with normal daily activities, and at normal speed of movement, seems overwhelming. Even now, this question involves "thinking, thinking" and "typing, typing," just to name a few of the actions noted. Noting while meditating is comparatively easy.

How does one avoid overload trying to mentally note in real time? Personal examples would help enormously.

Kind Regards and Metta, Ernest, NYC

It's like a whack a mole game. You are going to be bad in the begging, but if you keep playing you are going to become an expert in time. So keep noting as much as you can including the worry that you are unable to note most of it. In time you will get better.

Thanks Sankha,

Practice makes perfect, and sometimes awakened.
